Open Studios Fall Artist Tour, 12–6 p.m. Oct. 4-5, 11-12, Various Locations.
The 19th annual Open Studios Fall Artist Tour is your chance to see where the magic happens. More than 100 local artists are opening up their home studios for the next two weekends to expose their work and share their enthusiasm for art. Glass blowers, woodworkers, painters, potters and more will be discussing their techniques and inspirations with guests, and some are offering hands on activities in their homes. To help tour-goers choose which studios to attend, there will be a preview show exhibition at the Village Shops at 2525 Arapahoe Ave., Unit #E34 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Everything is free except for the $12 studio map, which locates every artist with a photo of their work. Proceeds from the map go to the Open Arts organization and it can be purchased at several locations including the Boulder Bookstore, Boulder Arts & Crafts and Whole Foods.
