Come join us for 10 weeks of Dawson’s exciting new summer camps and Programs for kids ages 5-18. From June 7 through Aug. 20, we will offer 40 various camps in academics, arts, music and drama, language and culture, sports, and various specialty day camps, running from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., with extended before- and after-camp care, on a huge 113-acre campus, with a pool, two gymnasiums, sports fields, art, photography and performing arts center. Kids receive a full lunch in our dining hall every day and take a break to cool off in the pool.

A rural, 38-acre school site offers part- and full-day activities Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. They offer daily rhythm for younger children of outside/inside games, crafts, water play, baking, storytelling, nature walks, picnics and song. Week-long theme camps for older children include woodworking, wild crafting, backyard naturalism and beekeeping. The camp is centrally located minutes from both Longmont and Boulder, east of Diagonal Highway. Camp Morning Glory is for children ages 3-7 and Camp Cotton Wood is for children ages 8-12. Camp Morning Glory offers two- and three-week sessions throughout the summer. Camp Cotton Wood offers week-long themed camps including Native American studies, puppet making, animal tracking, compass skills, needlework, embroidery, writing classes and more. Each week provides campers with a progressive learning experience that emphasizes the creative process. creation stories of Jews and other peoples? Artist Lia Lynn Rosen will

Since 1947, the Walker Family has provided quality summer camping experiences for boys and girls. Today’s Day Camp highlights both mountain adventure programs for Boulder youth ages 7-13 and specialty focus camps for ages 11-16. The Colorado Mountain Ranch offers confidence-building activities supervised and instructed with a positive approach aimed toward successful skill-building, passionate learning and fun. Activities include Western riding, horse and animal care, mountainboarding, swimming, gymnastics and trampoline, arts and crafts, archery, Native American lore, dramatics, music, dance, Frisbee golf, nature and environmental appreciation, outdoor living skills, hiking, camping, tracking, green experiences in sustainable living, sports and games, teen leadership and problem-solving team challenges. Optional weekly overnights and campouts round out each week. Bus transportation provided to and from Boulder.

• Mountain Summer Camp
For kids ages 11-16. CYP changes boys’ and girls’ lives and empowers them to make a difference in the world. Campers study wildlife, forests and weather. They breathe the fresh air and revel in the beauty of their natural surroundings. Furthermore, through CYP’s unique Environmental Hero Projects, campers are taught the value of conserving our natural resources and making the world a better place. Of course, CYP campers have fun, too, as CYP leads them in exciting outdoor activities from whitewater rafting and playing in alpine snowfields to preparing their own meals and sleeping under the stars. Campers enjoy a very personalized camp setting consisting of just 12 kids and four counselors per campsite, so each camper plays an active role in helping the camp run smoothly on a daily basis. CYP operates two campsites simultaneously, situated about a half mile apart. This intimate setting ensures that each camper’s needs are addressed and that everyone is a highly involved part of a tight-knit community. Sessions begin June 13.
