If you’re looking for a night of spirited music, head down to the Fox Theatre for Gipsy Moon’s Second Annual Holiday Extravaganza. The four-piece band features mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass and cello. Their combination of string instruments creates a haunting, complex soup of music that is as memorable as it is danceable. Hailing from Nederland, Gipsy Moon takes inspiration from nature around them. And that rootsy, down-home sound is apparent in their music. They’ll also be joined by Scott Messermith, The Holiday Horn & Rhythm Section, Taarka and The Sweet Lillies. Stop by and listen to some homegrown tunes.
