Copper Mountain hosts U.S. men’s and women’s ski teams

    The U.S. men’s and women’s alpine ski teams have chosen
    Copper Mountain as their training location as they prepare for the upcoming World
    Cup and Olympic seasons.

    Male athletes training at Copper include Ted Ligety, Bode
    Miller, Marco Sullivan, Steven Nyman, Scott Macartney, T.J. Lanning, Andrew
    Weibrecht and Erik Fisher.

    Among female athletes training on the mountain are Colorado’s
    own Lindsey Vonn and Sarah Schleper. Julia Mancuso, Stacey Cook, Resi Stiegler,
    Keely Kelleher, Chelsea Marshall, Kaylin Richardson and Leanne Smith are also
    training at Copper.
