You can grab a mainstream Hollywood flick anywhere in the country, but there are few places in the country to catch non-mainstream films. Thankfully, the University of Colorado Boulder hosts the International Film Series. The IFS has been showing non-mainstream films on campus for more than 70 years. This year’s slate of films, which includes a Stanley Kubrick retrospective and a new deal with Alamo Drafthouse, should scratch every art-film itch you should ever experience. Student tickets are $6, $7 general admission.
