Republican Mitt Romney has told a few whoppers in his day — his day being the last few months of campaigning.
But fudging the facts on President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul or his tax plan really pales in comparison to the foreign policy speech Romney gave Oct. 8 to the Virginia Military Institute.
From his comments on Obama’s supposed inaction on Libya and Egypt to Obama’s supposed indifference toward Israel, Romney was flat-out wrong. If Obama did nothing on Libya and Egypt, then Romney’s recent trip overseas wasn’t a horrendous failure, it was a success.
Of course, Romney really thinks it was a success.
