I don’t think I know anyone outside of my parents who owns a desktop computer.
Sure, the classic computers are still the way to go at work — I’m typing on one right now — but there’s little doubt laptops and tablets are taking over. Even friends of mine who don’t use a computer for work get laptops just so they can take their computer around the house.
So, if you’re looking for a laptop — or tablet — which one should you get?
That depends, says a review compilation from CNET. What do you want it for? Do you need an ultra-thin, ultra-portable computer? Willing to pay more? Into gaming? None of the above? The “best” laptop depends on what you plan to use it for.
