Republicans target Biden over gaffes

Joe Biden is not the most popular man in the White House these days after he forced his boss to speed up his announcement favoring gay marriage.

But
Republicans are hoping that focusing on the gaffe-prone vice president
will turn him into even more of a perceived liability.

Mitt Romney’s campaign and the Republican National Committee
have spent weeks tracking Biden’s every move, crashing an Ohio event
held by Obama’s loquacious No. 2 and blasting out video clips of the
vice president giving regional interviews in which he’s stumbled on his
message. Former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu targeted Biden in a
conference call Tuesday in advance of the veep’s visit to the state.
