Input sought on Canyon Roads

0

Residents, motorists and cyclists that use Boulder County’s canyon roads are invited to share their thoughts on how to make the roads safer via an online survey. The “road code” survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/s/roadcode until March 24. Printed copies are available upon request by contacting [email protected] or 720-564-2667.

The survey, which was developed by the Boulder County Mountain Canyon-Cyclist-Motorist Working Group, is designed to help that group better understand how to educate and inform canyon users on safety and cooperation throughout the canyons using a code of signage and regulations. The program would be implemented on Left Hand Canyon, James Canyon and Lee Hill Drive, and if successful, could be adapted for use in other areas of Boulder County.
