First annual ‘State of the City’ event

The Boulder Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Elevations Credit Union’s first annual “State of the City” event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. City Manager Jane Brautigam will discuss Boulder’s economic picture, highlights of 2009 and 2010 policy goals.

Brautigam will cover the challenges and opportunities for Boulder’s economy given the new perspective on city planning provided by the formation of the new Community Planning and Sustainability Department.

The discussion will be held at A Spice of Life Event Center, located at 5706 Arapahoe Rd. in Boulder. Breakfast will be provided and a 30-minute question-and-answer session will follow the discussion. The cost is $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members.
