Eldora Ski Area, just 21 miles west of Boulder, opens for
the season today with four lifts accessing four trails.
The mountain will open with a 24-inch base of man-made snow.
Lifts will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.
Early-season lift ticket prices are as follows: adults, $49;
junior (ages 6-15), $23; senior (65-74), $35; 5-and-under, $8.
