Emergency Family
Assistance Association (EFAA), a 91-year-old nonprofit, announced that it has
received a $50,000 donation from DigitalGlobe.
As a basic-needs organization,
EFAA provides food, shelter, and financial assistance to families, people with
disabilities, and seniors in Boulder and Broomfield counties. DigitalGlobe’s
gift will be used to help EFAA clients.
Said Terry
Benjamin, EFAA’s executive director: “We’ll be helping to pay heating bills to
prevent shut-offs, and helping families pay their rent so they’re not evicted.
We give folks a hand-up when life takes a downturn.”
