For the second year, a photography camp in South America will teach both amateur and professional photogs a specific “secret” of the industry: How to take professional ski photographs.
Image Quest, a camp developed by Boulder Weekly freelance writer Tom Winter and Grant Gunderson, teaches participants to become professional photographers.
Image Quest will take place Aug. 9-16 at the Valle Nevado ski area in the mountains of Chile — which are currently receiving snow, Image Quest says.Â
Winter says the camp covers “everything from%u2029 low%u2010fidelity %u2029photography%u2029 using%u2029 cell%u2029 phones%u2029 to%u2029 how%u2029 to%u2029 best %u2029submit%u2029 your %u2029portfolio %u2029to %u2029a %u2029magazine %u2029editor %u2029to %u2029developing %u2029and %u2029marketing %u2029yourself %u2029as %u2029a %u2029brand.”
Instructors for the camp include Winter and Keri Bascetta, both of whom have been published in multiple ski magazines.
