Breckenridge Ski Resort has evidently not gotten the message that people love skiing.
We’re kidding, but for its opening Nov. 8, Breck is being more than generous with the incentives to bring in skiers and snowboarders.
Referring to its opening as a “day-long party,” Breck has announced it will give away 2,000 free Bavarian cream éclairs to the first 2,000 visitors to the park, which will have “approximately 82 acres of terrain” open, a press release says. Open areas will be on Springmeier, Middle Four O’clock and Trygve’s.
The ski resort will also tap the first keg of Peak 6 Amber Ale at its TBar, well, bar. The action starts at 9 a.m.
