David Lee Roth posted a video this weekend explaining the mysteriously postponed dates on Van Halen’s tour.
As Rolling Stone reported Thursday, the band abruptly
postponed all the tour dates after their July 26th show in New Orleans,
pulling more than 30 dates from their schedule last week, including
shows in Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Salt Lake City and El Paso. They
offered no explanation for the postponement at the time.
Though a source with knowledge of the tour attributed the
cancelations to fighting within the band, Roth insists otherwise in the
video. “The band is getting along famously,” he says, “better than we
have in quite some time.”
