Mitt Romney won
all 20 of Puerto Rico’s delegates in Sunday’s primary, giving him an
easy win as the race moves to Illinois on Tuesday.
Of the 83 percent of votes counted by early Monday morning, Romney
had 83 percent of the total. Santorum had 8 percent, Newt Gingrich 2
percent, and Ron Paul 1 percent, CNN reports.
That puts CNN’s latest delegate count at: 518 delegates for Romney,
239 for Santorum, 139 for Gingrich and 69 for Paul. Candidates need
1,144 delegates to secure the nomination.
