Door to Door Organics is hoping to donate food from more
than 1,000 customers to local area food banks in its first canned food drive.
As part of the drive, which lasts to Nov. 25, the grocery
store is also planning on donating 100 pounds of fresh organic produce.
Food banks are in most need of peanut butter, canned meat or
tuna, fruit, corn, beans, tomatoes, and prepared foods like chili. Glass
bottles will not be accepted.
