In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Louisville Public Library
is hosting its second annual “Love in the Afternoon” event, featuring readings
and discussion with local romance novelists. The event, which is free, will be
held on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Louisville Public Library,
951 Spruce St.

This year’s group of novelists includes Tara Janzen, Robin
Owens, Melissa Mayhue, Deb Stover, Barbara Samuel, Clare Austin and Pamela
Clare (aka Boulder Weekly Editor Pamela White). Participants will sit in small
groups, moving from author to author. Each author will read from one of her
books, then answer questions.

There will be refreshments, and books will be available for
purchase. Seating is limited, so registration is required in advance. Call 303-335-4820
to reserve your place.
