Bon Appétit magazine’s “foodiest town in America” will show off some of its best wares on Sunday, May 1, at the Taste of Pearl wine and food festival in downtown Boulder.
Attendees will stroll along Pearl Street, in and out of well-known businesses, while tantalizing their taste buds with offerings from some of the town’s most recognized and award-winning restaurants.
Participating businesses include Art & Soul Gallery, Art Source International, Boulder Arts & Crafts, Boulder Book Store, Common Era, DecorAsian, the Earthwood Gallery, Lilli, momentuM, Outdoor Divas, Pedestrian Shop, SmithKlein Gallery, Starr’s Clothing, Weekends and Wenger Swiss Army.
And the participating restaurants include Black Cat, Brasserie Ten Ten, Centro Latin Kitchen, Flagstaff House, Frasca Food & Wine, Gondolier on Pearl, Happy, Jax, Mateo, The Mediterranean, OAK at Fourteenth, The Pinyon, The Rib House, Salt and West End Tavern.
The festival will also feature distinctive Colorado wines from Augustina’s Winery, Balistreri Vineyards, Bethlehem Cellars, Bookcliff Vineyards, Boulder Creek Winery, Ciatano Winery, Dithyramb Winery, Garrett Estate Cellars, Guy Drew Vineyards, Jack Rabbit Hill Winery, Redstone Meadery, Settembre Cellars, Snowy Peaks Winery, Turquoise Mesa Winery and Verso Cellars.
“In celebration of all things epicurean, Taste of Pearl provides an unrivaled tasting experience where foodies can sample the cuisine from some of the most highly respected chefs in the state,” Sean Maher, executive director of Downtown Boulder, Inc., said in a press release. “We are extremely fortunate that a large number of successful and influential restaurateurs have decided to call downtown Boulder home. The event transforms some of downtown’s most beloved galleries and boutiques into the ultimate gastronomic paradise.”
Tickets are $52.80 and can be purchased online at www.tasteofpearl.com. A portion of the events proceeds will benefit the Emergency Family Assistance Association.
