
Boulder Police are searching for a man who allegedly
inappropriately touched a 20-year-old woman around 7 p.m. on June 8.
According to a Boulder Police news release, the woman told
police that the suspect approached her while she was sitting on her porch on
the 1700 block of Marine Street and asked for a cigarette. The woman said she
did not have a cigarette, at which point the suspect reportedly began rubbing
her legs and making sexually inappropriate comments.
The woman asked him repeatedly to leave. The suspect eventually departedt and was last seen walking on 17th Street near Boulder High School.
The suspect told the woman that his name was “Andrew,” that
he was from Santa Cruz, Calif., and that he was recently released from
jail.
The suspect is described as a 20- to 25-year-old male with
white or light-olive skin, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 250
pounds. He is reported to have an athletic build and light brown hair in a
buzz-cut style. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt with a multi-colored
marijuana leaf design on the front, khaki cargo shorts and flip flops,
according to the release.
