LUNAFEST, a film festival featuring short films by, for and
about women, is coming to the Boulder Theater at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Established by LUNA, makers of the “Whole Nutrition Bar for
Women,” the film festival has two goals: to support and nurture the inspiring
and often unsung work of talented women filmmakers, and to raise funds and
awareness for causes that help, empower and give a voice to women from all
walks of life.
LUNAFEST in Boulder will benefit Greenhouse Scholars, a
nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive personal and financial
support to high-performing, under-resourced college students.
This year’s program will feature a diverse collection of
nine short films, including stories of love, childbirth and nude models.
