Boulder police arrested a 39-year-old transient man on a charge of felony menacing on Friday, Jan. 22, after responding to a disturbance at Denny’s in the 2900 block of Baseline Road.

The suspect is accused of throwing small rocks at the window of the restaurant and then throwing two larger, grapefruit-sized rocks at a manager who stepped outside to speak with him.

Peeping Tom

Boulder police officers responded to a report of a Peeping Tom in the 900 block of University Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23.

A female resident told police she was dressing in her bedroom when she noticed a man peering through three open slats in her blinds.

No suspect was located.

Transient hit, robbed

Boulder police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, near the YMCA in the 2800 block of Mapleton.

A male transient reported that he was robbed and hit with a baseball bat by three suspects.

The case remains under investigation.
