The University of Colorado Boulder announced on Tuesday
that it has cancelled its study abroad program at the American University in
Cairo.
Due to concerns over safety in Egypt¹s current state of
political unrest, Office of International Education staff members are currently
working with the American University of Cairo to evacuate the four CU students
that were registered for the spring semester.
According to a CU press release, these students will be
temporarily moved to a safe location in Europe, and the university will be
looking for alternate options for them to pursue their education experiences
abroad.
