Boulder’s 35th annual Walk and Bike
Month begins on June 1, and more than 1,600 people have registered for Bike to
Work Day on June 22.
Community Cycles, a local nonprofit
that educates and advocates for the safe use of bicycle transportation, has
organized more than 70 biking and pedestrian events for Walk and Bike Month,
which is presented by GO Boulder.
Bike to Work Day organizers estimate
that 5,000 participants will take part in the event.
