A new owner is being sought for Ellie’s Eco Home Store in Boulder.
Steve Savage, majority owner of the eco-friendly shop, announced in a March 8 press release that he and his co-owners are seeking a new owner.
“Ellie’s is still very special to me and, given the economic climate, has done well, but the concept really needs someone to be invested in the business 100 percent of the time, and given the launch and rapid growth of my new company NEW (National Eco Wholesale) I’m unable to give Ellie’s the attention it deserves”, Savage said in the release.
Ellie’s opened its doors in November 2008. It carries eco-friendly and sustainable home/garden, office and building products.
Ellie’s will be looking at both local and national acquirers, Savage said.
